OPEN runs a weekly space for young people (14-25) in the Fjara on Mondays 4pm-6pm. From the 6th February we will be holding Da Café in The Hub on Commercial Rd on Mondays 4pm-6pm in partnership with Youth Services.
Da Cafe is there to give young people in shetland a space to go, where they dont have to spend money to sit in the warmth and access free wifi. We have completed Peer Research looking into youth spaces within shetland, for more info contact Wayne Leask
If you're a young person (16-25 years old) and you would like to help developing the youth space with us, we hold a session on the last Tuesday of each month at 6.00-8.30pm. Everyone is welcome!
